In the first weekend of October, myself and 11 other underwater photographers and their models traveled to Strømsholmen to participate in the National Underwater Photography Championship. In the end I ranked 8.th with a winning picture in the "wide angle with diver" category. It was a fantastic weekend with great dives, a lot of underwater photography and a tremendous learning experience.
Not far away from where I live there is a small lake in the middle of the woods called Klaretjern (Clear Lake). It is a well known diving destination because of its clear still water and a convenient way of giving the gear a nice fresh water rinse.

So after a couple of exciting days of waiting to get to try out my new underwater gear, I finally got to try it out one wednesday afternoon. I joined Rune Edvin Haldorsen and the Sjøtrollet members abord their boat into the Oslo fjord.
This dive was more about testing the equipment than getting good shots. For this dive I used the Nikkor 60mm and the Light & Motion flat macro port. The equipment worked flawlessly on this dive.
